A leader in providing residential and vocational services to adults with developmental disabilities has excellent employment opportunities for Direct Support Professionals in our California Programs. Summary of Position:
Provides overall support to persons served by teaching skills that foster independence and community integration as directed and guided by the person’s Individual Service Plan (ISP).

Ensure the highest quality of standards in a supportive, clean and safe environment. Teach recreational activities as well as activities of daily living Teach and provide personal cares Administer daily medications Transport clients to community events, recreational activities, and work programs Maintain accurate reports Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, maintaining cleanliness of program vehicle, basic maintenance of outside house/program area appearance, and running errands for program area/home.

DSP positions require availability on weekends and holidays (additional comp provided). We have 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities available immediately with a 1st shift position opening next month. 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Valid California driver's license with a responsible driving record and proof of vehicle insurance. Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong interpersonal and communication skills A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth

We provide all PAID classroom (40 hours) and on the job training (80 hours) you need to be successful in this position. Pay based on experience.
