Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

Thisis a senior level position, in Oracle s Global IT Infrastructure Toolingand Automation group, focused on designing, developing, implementing,integrating and supporting solutions that are required to ensure efficient and errorfree delivery of Oracle's IT services.

*_Responsibilities:_*

* Collaborate globally with own team, other IT groups and lines of business to design, develop, implement, administrate, and support service assurance tools throughout life cycle

* Develop integration and automation to streamline business process, enable data sharing, eliminate manual errors, and improve efficiency in order to maximize value out of the tools

* Participate in design meetings, prepare design documentation, and develop, test, review, debug, and enhance existing/new capabilities and features

* Provide support to Operations teams and the user community

* Interact with Build & Operations teams & customers throughout the solution life-cycle following the Agile methodology

* Participate in on-call rotation and work flexible hours as needed

* Stay current with advances in both Oracle and industry tools, techniques, technologies and trends

*_Skills Required:_*

* BS in Computer Science with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in related field

* Good knowledge of the software development life cycle

* Solid understanding of database concepts and strong SQL writing and tuning skills

* Solid programming experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and PL/SQL

* Solid understanding of integration (API) technologies REST, SOAP, Java

* Experience with Hudson/Jenkins CI, Maven, Microservices architecture, Kafka, WebLogic, SOA Suite, BMP Suite, SOAP, REST, ExtJS web framework, Linux administration and scripting is a plus

* Experience with automation technologies, i.e Chef/chef plus, Terraform, Puppet is a plus

* Experience working with common IDE s, version control systems and code review tools, such as: Eclipse/JDeveloper,SVN/GIT and ReviewBoard

* Excellent analytical and research skills for assessing problems and recommending solutions

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying conceptual and technical information, to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Experience with designing, developing, implementing and supporting enterprise applications, tools and/or freeware
