Summary:

Chemical Clean Processor is responsible for sequentially moving parts through certain chemical tanks based on detailed specifications controlled by the company. You are required to run parts in the order of priority set by your manager to ensure we meet customer demand. The position of Chemical Clean Processor performs this role in a skilled area of work in the production department. The work is of a technical nature and decisions are made within the limits of general IMPAKT CLEAN procedures, specifications and safety guidelines.

Job Functions:

+ Assist when required to rack parts supporting customer requirements.

+ Process parts in tanks per Job Traveler instructions and other requirements established by your manager.

+ Give guidance to staff racking parts to make sure they rack parts properly before they are loaded into tanks.

+ Give guidance to staff un-racking parts to make sure they un-rack parts properly and carefully to avoid damage.

+ Remove parts from tanks after specific times, rinse and dry parts properly then move to un-racking

+ Perform visual inspection to ensure parts coming off the line are properly cleaned.

+ Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to appropriate manager or quality personnel.

+ Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition that follow safety policies and procedures.

+ Follow all written procedures and processes.

+ Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.

+ Report any broken or damaged equipment.

+ Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of properly any problems please notify Chemist.

+ Adhere to all company safety and environmental standards and OSHA requirements

+ Use required safety equipment.

+ Must follow all company policies and procedures

+ Additional duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

+ Effective communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts

+ Excellent Attendance and time management

+ Prior experience in racking and un-racking.

+ Possess basic mathematical skills

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ You must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time, bend, stoop and twist without limitations. Must be able to lift overhead 20 lbs., lift 50 pounds to waist high then carry for 15 ft., lift 35 pounds from floor carry waist high and place on standard height table or pick and place from one table to another. Must be able to push and pull 35 pounds 20 ft. Must have 20/20 vision with corrective lenses and not have color blindness.

+ Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work.
