### Roles And Responsibilities

With minimal supervision and moderate decision-making:

* Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures.

* Support and encourage continuous improvement of the company's processes, including safety program and quality management system.

* Perform or function as a lead technician in the completion of various tests performed by department.

* Assist in the development of new procedures for non-standard or specials projects as assigned.

* Review test results for accuracy and summarize these in report form for engineer's analysis.

* Modifies equipment, as required, to perform special testing assignments.

* Maintain equipment by cleaning, repairing, testing, or calibrating as needed.

* Assist in the training of other technicians as directed.

* Be able to travel as required, both domestically and internationally.

* Meet all utilization goals as determined by Location Manager or supervisor.

* Completes administrative reports to meet deadlines, assist engineers as requested.

* Communicate tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing.

* Maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.

* Come to work regularly and on time.

* Complete all administrative reports, purchases department supplies and perform other duties as assigned.

* Execute work duties in an organized and efficient manner.

* Maintain organized and clean work area.

* Work well while under supervision.

* Be able to meet deadlines.

* Be able to work while under stress.

* Perform other duties as assigned

### Requirements

* * Current driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

* Possess or be able to obtain valid passport.

* Have 5 or more years of related experience.

* Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of various testing procedures.

* Have a knowledge and understanding of various testing equipment.

* Have knowledge and use of electronic data acquisition equipment.

* Have knowledge and use of computer.

* Have well-developed communication skills.

Physical Qualifications

* Performs moderate work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects

Knowledge/Skill

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in geology or physics preferred.

* Bachelor's degree in math or science related field a plus.

* 3-5 years relevant experience required.

* Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing and competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
