Process Engineer/Special Project Consultant 2 - US Bank (California)
Provide process design and improvement redesign recommendations to bank operations as an internal consultant. Manage project, gather data, and analyze process leveraging process improvement methodologies and tools (e.g. Lean and/or Six Sigma). Develop recommendations and make written and verbal presentations. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including senior leadership and business line process owners. Coach business line staff to understand and apply process improvement tools. Facilitate the implementation of business process reengineering changes, operational projects, and standardization of operational procedures. Utilize PC software including spreadsheet, word processing, process mapping, layout, simulation modeling, and presentation to communicate, illustrate, measure and monitor improvement. Travel is required.
**Qualifications:**
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Ten or more years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Industrial Engineering/Operations Management Degree
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Well-developed organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
