Title: Project Coordinator/Courtroom Clerk Department:( 60) Tribal Court
Class: Clerical FLSA: Non-exempt
Status: Full-time (32 hours) Pay Grade: 6-7( $16.20-$25.60)
Supervisor: Tribal Court Administrator Subordinates: None

Position Summary:
The core responsibilities of this position is to facilitate and coordinate a strategic planning
process for Tribal Court. Utilizing technical assistance from Department of Justice (DOJ)
technical assistance providers. Schedule presentations to Tribal Council by Court Administrator
and/or Judge; support such presentations with Powerpoint overviews of Strategic Planning
process. Manage court case recordings and assist Court Clerk with daily clerical functions of the
Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation Tribal Court.
All Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation employees are at will employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer all duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator as outlined in the
Tribal Court Strategic Planning grant.
Participate with management team in long-term strategic planning processes as well as
short-term problem solving related to Tribal Court development.
Responsible to coordinate meetings, insure all stakeholders are included, check and
manage multiple calendars and schedules for planning.
Responsible to track data and outcomes related to strategic planning process and any
action plan developed.
Ability to write reports based on data collection and distribute reports to appropriate
individuals.
Maintain organized physical and audio records of all Tribal Court proceedings to include
the Court files, Tribal Court filings, pleadings, exhibits orders, and any others documents
as directed by the Court Judge or Administrator.
Assist Court Administrator with Court budgets, including but not limited to, the
development and submission of annual budgets, project development costing,
forecasting of expenses, and related budgetary duties.
Assist Court Administrator with other court grants or core development projects to ensure
the Courts sustainability.
Assist all persons or organizations with business before the Court to insure the efficient
operation of the Tribal Court. Such assistance may include, but is not limited to help with
the preparation of papers to file with the Tribal Court.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times, and may not give advice on questions
of law, nor shall appear or act on behalf of any person in any Tribal Court proceedings.
Collect statistical information needed to manage operations for presentation and as
required or requested.
